Forbidden Dance is a manga series about a girl named Fujii Aya who, after falling on stage at a big competition, doesn't have enough confidence to start dancing again. But then she sees COOL and asks to join, not realizing that it's... all guys ^_^; Created by Hinako Ashihara...-_-" I've never heard of her, but she's also the creator of Girls Lesson, Homemade Home, Hoshifuru Heya de, Derby Queen, Miss, Tennen Bitter Chocolate, and Yubikiri. So, anybody a fan? lol. If you like dance, or ballet, it's definately a manga to consider picking up to read.

Wow Sakura, how do you know so much about so many manga/anime? ^^ lol, school. ^_^" My friends here are really big anime fans and we go to the anime club each week it's held. Also, my school's lucky that we have manga in it. So, I go there from time to time to see what new books they have. lol the only site I could find on it was also tokyopop. But, it is quite interesting, I finally finished reading volume 1. -_-" and sadly, there's only 4 volumes.

Lucky u.. At my school (well... I don't go to school anymore... *cough* let's just say at my High School) we didn't have any manga. Not even the local library has any... and if there are a few, they are in chinese which i couldnt read, or they'd be ones that aren't targetted at people my age... Therefore, I need to buy the manga My friends at high school don't really like anime either.. Oh wells.. Is this manga new? Does it end in 4 volumes, or is that only how many came out so far?

Yes ur lucky ur school has an anime club. My friend was gonna start one in my school but it didnt happen. Oh well. Starting one is pretty hard. You have to have the money, the support- teachers, fans, and stuff to do. All we do is sit there and watch anime eps and or movies. ^_^" Though, it's still a lot of fun. lol. We have a manga club here too...though...me and my friends quit because all we did was sit there. My friends draw a lot, but, we just got bored being there. >.< I went off topic. Gomen nasai...

4 volumes only? That's VERY short.. hmm.. roughly into anime, it would be about 12 episodes.. I guess that can still work out!

Aw that sounds like such a cute and funny manga! I've never heard of it before but I've gotta check it out sometime! lol it kinda reminds me of another manga called "Paradise Kiss." It's about this high school girl named Yukari and she's really struggling in school and spends all her time studying for the entrance exams for college. But one day she meets up with this fahion-obsessed posse called Paradise Kiss, and at first she wants nothing to do with them but they want her to be a model for their latest fashion creations, and George, the leader of the group, always gets what he wants. Soon Yukari becomes dear friends with the group, and starts missing less and less school. She soon realizes that school isn't everything, and she begins to wonder whether she should live how everyone wants her to or follow her dream. Anyone else heard of it?
