PARADISE KISSwell l havent seen this b4..its pretty new though..its pretty popular in japan atm..its an anime and manga its created by AI YAZAWA..same creator as NANA ... seems like AI yazawa's comics deals with fashion Age rating: Teenagers (May contain bloody violence, bad language, nudity) Genres: Comedy, Drama, Romance, Shoujo StoryYukari is a typical high-school student who listens to her parents and attends school everyday. As she starts to question her way of life, she encounters a group of fashion design students who has a clothing label known as "Paradise Kiss". The group needs to find a model to showcase their designs in an up-coming fashion show and decides to pick Yukari instead. Initially, Yukari was reluctant to be associated with this seemingly eccentric group, but eventually, she realises that they are really nice people. Furthermore, their passion and enthusiasm to follow their ideals and dreams make Yukari realise that she has not been enjoying her life and this motivated her to pursue her own dreams. mm..sounds interesting. I think I heard a similiar story to this somewhere..lol I wonder what more could happen in the story.
This story doesn't sound like the possible description given here.
So if the anime still going? Or has it ended? If so, how many episodes?

The anime is near ending I think, it's about 12eps. No idea about the manga I'm guessing it's longer.
Personally I didn't like it. The art is unappealing for shoujo and the story is too unappealing to be anything else but shoujo. I found the romantic subplot rather poor too, which is usually what its all about :/ It's a 'fresh' approach I suppose as opposed to the done and redone over and over melodrama plots, but hey there's a reason why the same formulas are re-used. They make money and people like them. I'm sure that it'll appeal to many people in the way many 'left field' shows like "Lain" tend to get specific crowds raving. Should also be noted I've got very little interest in fashion so that swings alot against the show's favour.
