Wolfen Confessions, Kaiya's (from the main RPG) Story
By: parachick24@hotmail.com
Part One: It has begun
“WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER!?” Daik opened the Gym’s door and walked in, slamming the door behind him.
Daik was a simple boy... He had spiked black hair and dark green eyes. He seems to a dork in School but in his corner of friends he is the life of the party.
Daik closed the door behind him and kicked away some left-over-banners that screamed: “GO FIGHTING GOLDFISH!” from the previous Pep Rally.
He could see his Biology book, with a really eerie owl on the cover, on the other side of the Basketball Court. He grinned, and started to head that way.
CLICK.
The lights went out. The sound of the Gym’s fans drowned out. He was in total darkness.
“Great…” Daik mumbled to himself, trying to see through the darkness. “CAN I GET SOME LIGHT IN HERE?!”
“LIGHT IN HERE!”
“LIGHT IN HERE!”
He listened to his echo but did not hear the sound of the power coming back on.
“I’ve been waiting for you…” A voice came from behind him and suddenly a green glowing light appeared behind him.
They were so close, he could feel their hot breath on the back of his neck.
“Who are you?”
He felt a warm, slender hand on his shoulder… He turned his head…
There was a whip of air, over his head…
“I just wanted to see if you wanted a glow stick!”
He turned his head to look at what said that, in front of him and, “AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! STAY AWAY FROM ME!” Daik fell to the floor, backwards to get away from it. “PLEASE DON’T EAT ME!”
“Of course not, Silly,” It giggled. “I prefer Ice cream anyway!”
He uncovered his face and looked up at it. Starting from the floor and up:
‘Feet… with skin!! *Sigh* Thank Gosh it’s human… *Gulp* Legs… *Deeper Gulp and heart racing* Skirt… Blouse… Neck… ‘Gotta be a chick…’
The he saw her head. Rosy lips. Slender Nose. And then there was her eyes… An Excited yellow… almost like cat eyes, no dog eyes… They were beautiful and kind. It was as if he was looking into the eyes of a… wolf. Then he saw her highlighted hair but…
‘DOG EARS!’
He was staring at the twitchiest, blackest, cutest dog ears he had ever seen.
“Are you okay? Sorry if I scared you!” She kneeled down beside him, and scratched behind her ear as though a bit embarrassed.
He just stared. But suddenly felt a fluffy thing hitting his leg. He looked down…
‘A TAIL?!’
“W-What are you?” Daik mumbled out.
“A wolf hanyou of course.” She smiled brightly, revealing sharp, white teeth.
“YOUR A WOLF DEMON?!”
“No, half wolf demon,” She corrected him. “I know… you don’t see a lot of us--”
“I DON’T SEE A LOT OF YOU… THINGS?! YOUR SUPPOSE TO BE A LEGEND!”
“No, No.” She shook her head, her ears twitching. “Demons like me are just banned from civilization containing people like you.”
“SO WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?” Daik yelled afraid.
“Shhh, I think your bleeding…” Her nose twitched.
She shinned the green glowing stick in front of his arm and over his elbow. A dark, what looked black was spilling out of his elbow. He was bleeding.
“I hope you don’t die!” The wolf cried and gently took his hand.
Daik sweat dropped.
“You’ve got to go to the nurse!” Then she took him by the shoulders and forced him up with her.
Daik wobbled from the strong force, “The nurse kinda’ went home.”
“WHAT!? WHY? YOU COULD DIE!”
“It’s just a cut.” Daik huffed getting annoyed, “Plus, it’s after school. She doesn’t have to be here.”
“Hmph! I Guess I’ll have to take you home!”
“TAKE ME HOME? I’M NOT A PET, Y’KNOW?!”
Daik yelled, throwing his arms up in frustration.
“Of course not,” She giggled and put his arms back down.
Although Daik was annoyed, he couldn’t stop blushing.
“Can’t we just go to the Hospital? I mean, can’t “I” just go to the Hospital?” Daik asked.
“No.”
“NO?! WHY NOT?” Smoke steamed out of Daik’s nose.
“Trust me!” She dragged him by his good arm out of the gum, down the hall (earning much attention from the Tutors wandering the halls,) and out the front door.
“YOU WANT ME TO TRUST YOU!? It’s like your kidnapping me!”
“Can’t kidnap the willing!” The demon poked his elbow.
“OW!”
“Oh yeah, sorry! So, wanna ride on my back?” The wolf asked turning her back on him.
“WHAT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN!? I’M CAPABLE OF WALKING, Y’KNOW!”
“Stubbron, Stubbron!” She grabbed him and pulled him up on her back, as if giving him a piggy back ride.
“H-HEY! WHA’D YOU THINK YOUR DOIN’?”
“I’m not waiting on you to walk all the way to my home! You humans are so slow, and funny too.” She giggled, once again.
Daik grunted and rested his hands on her shoulders, hoping not to fall.
Suddenly. She jumped up, kicking off the flag pole, landing on the top of the school building.
Daik’s hand grip tightened.
She stepped up on the edge of the top of the building.
Daik breathed out, looking down and giving a loud, long huff.
“Are you ready?”
“What? N-OOOOOOO!”
She had leaped off the edge, they were in mid air, she landed on a tree branch in the forest off the school grounds.
She jumped from tree to tree, through the forest and then out into the city.
She grabbed the city’s huge, long legnthed sign that said: Welcome to Tokyo, in Japanese. She pulled herself up on the top.
“What are you doing?!” Daik screamed as he looked down.
Traffic was busy as usual… He could just image two big lumps of road kill, one with dog ears and the other with really bad shoes.
She didn’t reply. But leaped. Her hair flew back into his face. The scent of pears and a hint of Vanilla, burned his nose. ‘She does wash her hair then…’
She landed on a building off the side of the sign. It was the Tokyo hotel for the rich folk. Then she pulled her arms back, grabbing his sides. “Hold on.”
She jumped, once more. They were on a short building now that she landed. She leaped down onto the street side, on the side walk.
To Daik’s surprise, No one was startled. Some even tipped their hats. She walked over to the bus stop. “Okay… Get off.”
She rem, oved her hands from his sides and he hopped down and stretched.
“What are we doing at a bus stop? Do you live here?” Daik asked.
“NO, silly! Our apartment is a bit to far for me to hop with you on my back!”
Daik sweat dropped, “Thanks for calling me fat,” He mumbled.
The wolf girl grabbed him by the good arm and dragged him on the bus.
She dropped two coins in the slot and hopped to the back of the bus, with Daik behind her.
They waited for everyone to get on…
Then the bus began to move.
The sun was starting to go down, as Daik looked out the window, past the horizon.
“So… what’s your name?” Daik asked quietly as he looked at the wolf demon beside him.
She was silent, and she looked deep in thought as she stared out the same window.
“Kaiya.”
“…I’m Daik.”
“I know.”
“But how?” They both looked down at his shirt then back at each other.
“It’s on your name tag.”
Daik sweat dropped and un-pinned his name tag with “McDonald’s” writen in Black.
“I … Still don’t understand why you wouldn’t just take me to the Hospital…”
“Uh-huh.”
Daik growled lowly under his breath. This Kaiya sure was annoying. But why wouldn’t he just walk away?
He thought about it:
He ran off the bus, down the street, almost knocking down an old woman. He could hear her behind him, and all of a sudden,
“WHERE ARE YOU GOING?” There was a slashing tail, excited yellow eyes, and twitching ears. She grabbed his shoulders and yanked him back.
“Kaiya?”
“Yes?” Kaiya asked but pulled the string about the window and the bus came to a halt.
She took his hand.
He blushed looking up at the standing wolf demon.
“C’mon, dork.”
She dragged him off the bus.
