I was just wondering, do you guys prefer the manga the same as the anime? Same drawing and story e.g Dragonball, Inuysha, or changes e.g Sailormoon??

How's this for self-serving-ness: If I have access to both, I want different stories; If I have only one, I want them the same.
I actually kind of liked the Ranma way - same basic story, but some stuff in the anime is not in the manga and vice versa.

It depends ^-^;; I kinda agree with jdeyke.
I like how the Inuyasha manga is the same as the anime, because I want to know what happens in the anime (since I don't have access to it).. that's y I read the manga ^_^
However, it's sometimes more interesting if it's different. Like I would love to read Fruits Basket Manga if it's a little varied from the anime. There might be good parts- not included in anime ;D

I was thinking, cos you know, some people who have read the manga first may like to see the same thing, and sometimes get annoyed they ahve changed the story...but I guess this just doesn't apply to anime/manga, but also books/film... (e.g Jing Yong novels)

For me, the manga and the anime should be the exact same. Books and movies are the same way.
I dont' know why, but if I read a book/manga first, I really want the movie/anime to be as close to the book/manga as it can get. I mean, it's pretty cool to be able to watch something move around and talk that you've already read about.
Heh, I guess what Death Soldier just said is how I feel. I don't like it when something's changed when it's animated.

I like them the same, that way, if the manga isn't there, the anime can be a guide, and vice-versa. lol.
