How did Neo Queen Serenity dominate the world in the 30th Century? I mean.. like, there's so many nations on the planet, what makes her the ruler? And 30th Century... does the senshi age really slow or something? Is it explained in the manga?

These are the questions that I asked too. I mean I would understand maybe Usagi's decendent ruleing Crystal Tokyo (and I can imagine Japan being the last place standing). But from what I read and saw I don't think it was completely explained and was just left to the imagination of sorts. Oh, okay, I kinda looked it up here explains it, and really makes little sense but interesting.

ok.... hm.. a Utopian aye? I mean I guess it kinda makes sense, but doesn't that make Neo Queen Serenity kinda cold? I dunno... I kinda felt sorry for Demand and Saphir when they were banished to Nemisis as kids :/

That was kinda the animes biggest issue I think, they never went into great detail with things. They glossed over alot of the Black Moon history and Crystal Tokyo. I would have loved just an entire episode dedicated to the future, have Chibiusa remember a day in the future (kinda like how the Inner Senshi saw the past...)

Hm..that's sorta interesting. I always wondered about that too. kinda freaky thought that people were living eternally though..they'll grow up slowly..? how about the kids? they have to grow up eventually, but then Crystal Tokyo wil be filled with lots of old ppl..or..everyone looking the same age

Did they ever explain why the Black Moon Clan went against Neo Queen Serenity? Surely...Demand and Saphir seemed innocent enough o.o It seems like they turned evil because they were banished away, as oppose to already being evil to begin with- since they learn what is love etc afterwards.

I think at one point they were all part of the Moon Kingdom, but Prince Diamond started a resurrection to overthrow Neo Queen Serenity.
All of this is speculation at this point but I've always believed that there are two sides to every Moon person (kinda like Jedi and Sith in Star Wars) When Prince Diamond came into being, his Dark side was more prominent than his light side, which gives him tendencies not usually dealt with in the Moon Kingdom.
Perhaps Wiseman unlocked the remaining dark side from Diamond and used him to corrupt Saphir and the others. Then, with all of their strengths combined, they were powerful enough to corrupt the people of Crystal Tokyo and encase Neo Queen Serenity and the Sailor Senshi in crystal as you see in the manga.
I wanted to hit on this concept in my version of the Sailor Moon R beat'em up game but I held back because I might have gotten some unwanted feedback or backlash from the Sailor Moon community.

That's kinda interesting. I wonder where the Wiseman came from now haha..
So basically the Dark Moon Family were just the people who turned 'corrupted' and decided to go against Neo Queen Serenity? They were really part of the family ey?

Ok so i thought i was the only one confused on these topics, i was actually thinking about watching all of the seasons and trying to see if i get a better understanding on everything.
I asked my boyfriend to watch them with me but i don't know he looked a lil hesitant. haha. I actually haven't read the manga yet...i know, i know how could i not, but i am planning on do it this coming winter break, will that give better explanations???

Maybe after chaos was defeated she had a spell put on her and her senshi to make her not age Funny you should mention that. I honestly believe that in the 30th Century, the people of the Earth would have learned or adapted the trait of Longevity (basically living much longer than what we do now) by then. On a Science Channel special about "super powers," a scientist had discovered a way to extend the life of a Fruit Fly by nearly 60 days (the previous life span was about 12 days). He had explained that this was achieved by holding off the reproductive process. With each generation that does this, that generation would live a little bit longer than the previous one and the process would go further and further. So who knows, in our 30th Century, we could be as "young" as Neo Queen Serenity and the Guardian Senshi. ^^
