Magical Meow Meow Taruto
Number of Episodes: 12
Summary: There is a legend among cats of a land called "Ganache," which was located in a dimension not far off from our own. For thousands of years, Ganache was ruled by the monarchy of the Kinka, a race which possessed strong magical powers. There was another race in the land of Ganache called the Byoh, who practiced the art of deception. The Byoh were very jealous of the Kinka's magical powers and plotted to destroy the Kinka monarchy. The bloody uprising scorched the land and one by one the sorcerers of the Kinka fell to the swords of the Byoh. When it was clear his castle would soon fall, King Mahtah, the leader of the Kinka, entrusted his newborn daughter to his loyal retainer and ordered him to escape from Ganache, so that the royal house might one day rise again. But on that day, the history of the Kinka monarchs came to an end. And no one knows what became of the Kinka Princess, who is said to possess tremendous magical powers.
As it happens, the whereabouts of the lost princess may not be such a mystery after all. In Okashina City, the people of the city see cats as nothing more than four-legged animals, but the cats see each other as little cat-people. And a very special kitty has just moved with her family to their new home in Okashina City, a kitty named Taruto. At first, Taruto seems no different from any of the other cats living in town, aside from being a bit silly and clumsy. But it is soon apparent that Taruto is very different indeed. For one thing, it appears that Taruto has magical powers. Unfortunately, she can't control them very well. She also has a knack for getting in trouble. So, there's never a dull moment with Taruto around. And when she hears the "Legend of Ganache" Taruto is convinced that she is the lost magical princess in the story. And she is determined to prove it!
It looks a lot like Tokyo Mew Mew. And, by the title, I even thought it was. XD But, the story's completely different
