*nods* I can imagine, I suffer from anime/manga withdrawal. I haven't seen any new series of anime for about five days - - The longest this year so far is... 50 or so days without watching news anime series...
((Note this does not include manga or anything old - - or anything in a continuing series eg. Naruto ^^
Loopholes... Always a way to cheat the system. hehe ^^))

Izumi is scary....... *blinks* Sticking them on an island?? With a master like that who needs an executioner... LMAO!

Episodes differ a lot from each other. Last time I watched one, it seemed like the serious/cool/magic type of anime. The next one made it seem like a comedy with the ep (I don't know the number) with Al trying to keep a cat. (although the Scar person killing State Alchemists and Gluttony was it eating the person made me feel a bit sick...) It's always funny when Ed screams around when everyone thinks he's short although you can't really blame him. his little brother seems like the older one since the robot is so huge...

Izumi is kinda scary, but she gets the job done, doesn't she? And I wouldn't really know about the anime, but one of my friends (the one who introduced me to FMA, actually) said that the manga and anime do differ a lot. Not story-line, wise, but some of the ways they draw...er...wait, that still doesn't make much sense. I think I mean the abount of chibis they use in each one. -nods- There's more chibi and SD people in the magna than the anime...but it's still pretty funny in each one.

what's a SD person? I think it's funny how Al can change his facial expression when he's a robot (that face is so cute )

SuperDeformed? Like 'chibi' methinks... When you just seeing a figure that represents Ed as being short with that unique hairstyle, and Al next to him in outline only. I'll post when I find something.

FMA is reallly good i like it when i first watch it. But then some episods really bothers me.... like what their mother turned out like when they did the humantrasmution and what that bio alchemist did to his own family... :S sick to the stomache..... but other wise it's good! it's funny too.. I reckon the most funny part is where the part when the two brothers were small they have to stay in this island for a month because of Izumi tell them to and they finally caught a fish... LOL that's hilarious, i can't stop laughing

I like the funny parts and the funny faces they make but some parts a little too disturbing/scary... i just started watching full metal alchemist and its sooo good!! and i agree that some parts r funny but some parts r disturbing. some parts r sooo scary like in the beginning...i got goosebumps all over me. what i don't like is when oops when ed found out that that little boy got his arm and leg and yea.... i hate that part and the part where the officer died...poor thing and he just had a kid and the part where tucker used nina and the dog fro his project...waaa i hate those parts!!! when i think back this aniem is different other anime because usually in other anime only one or 2 good character die but in thsi liek nearly everyone died...

Yeah, the anime is different from most, it's more serious and a lot more of the 'good guys' die in it. But that's what makes it so interesting as well as one of my favorite anime/mangas. It's more serious, but has a few light jokes in it to balance it out.

I've never seen Full Metal Panic or Fumoffu, so I don't know if I can agree with that...but I do have to say, I don't know much that can compare with how much I like Full Metal Alchemist (the manga, anyway). ^^ Great to know there's another FMA fan out there too!

I've watched FMP and a bit of FMA, FMP fumoffu is pretty good, but in my opinion FMA is probaby better (by a bit or a moderate amount? I can't tell) probably since it's more recent. The title FMP isn't used as much (if at all) while Ed is commonly refered to as the full metal alchemist (even though he is isn't fully metal, Al should have that title ) Full Metal probably refers to the robots they use and Panic is the action? Well, I like the title FMA better since it has more meaning. Doesn't FMA end at something like ep 50? (I haven't watched that far)

a freind of mine made me a dvd of it, it's pretty good, but the basis for the series is way off. A huge thing is the idea that in order to transmute something you need to have something of equal mass, alchemy was supposed to be able to create mass in reality. also, they say the only way around said idea is to find the "alchemist's stone", which was in the actual research of alchemy believed the only thing of transmutating matter at all. Not that big a deal, but i like to nit-pick stuff.
