Here's a picture for movie 3:
The Third Ranma 1/2 Movie! Based off the Manga (Volume 29), the story revolves around a Phoenix that hatches on Kuno's head. With the Phoenix, it gives Kuno great power to finally defeat Ranma. However, Ranma isn't going to allow this to last as he tries his might to separate the Phoenix from Kuno.
This is the shortest of the three movies, 30 minutes, thus it was released by Viz as an OVA Episode. But believe it or not, this movie did appear in Theaters in Japan and shouldn't be considered part of the OVA series.
I still want to watch it though ^.^

I really want to watch "OAV Episode 12- "The Two Akanes, 'Ranma, Look At Me!'" -looks like its going to be about Ranma and Akane ^^ though all of them sound pretty good! You can actually buy them in a set of DVDs, but are kinda expensive. I watched the two movies: "Big Trouble In Nekonron, China" and "Nihao My Concubine" and i think they are cool. The storyies are kinda similar though

I just watched "OAV Episode 12- "The Two Akanes, 'Ranma, Look At Me!'"It was really good ^-^!!! Though it was quite short.. it only lasted for 30 min. It was a very sweet one.... you can get to see Ranma's reaction to stuff you rarely see Akane doing to him..heheh ;D If you get what I mean? Drawings are great, and there is a great cast too... Lots of nice suspense, and romantic (?) Too bad it was sooo short But overall... it is a MUST SEE!

kool i want to watch it tooo.......hehehehe...i cant view the pic ;D so would this be the last part of ranma uhm..I don't think so. It's just an extra episode that belongs somewhere in between. I think Movie 2- "Nihao My Concubine" is the last one. Not exactly Saphira..don't let the name trick you Most characters are involved in it, and I would say it focuses on Ranma and Akane I finally got hold of Ranma OVA12 . I got really excited and had heaps of expectations on this OVA as it's the first OVA of Ranma I've seen. I really enjoyed watching it ... I agree with you ChibiJen..it is rather short though. I thought Akane looked super cute as a doll, and I thought it was very sweet that the doll reminded Ranma of Akane and she starts to cry Ukyou looks very different..prettier with her hair up ^_^ i can't wait to watch the other OVAs..hm.. I'm watching it backwards..doesn't contain any spoilers does it? If you watch it backwards?

Here's more details of the Ranma Movies.... Plot Synopsis After a rollicking chase involving Happosai, Ranma, Akane, and very nearly every other reoccurring character in Ranma 1/2 gets broken up by a mysterious (super powerful) black blob, we are introduced to a young Chinese girl, Lychee, who has come bearing half of a scroll rumored to betroth her to a prince. Before we get the full story on why, a Chinese martial artist and his "seven gods" (more martial artists, of course) show up in a flying boat and kidnap Akane, thinking that she is the bearer of the scroll half and fated to marry this chopstick-wielding prince, the head of the Seven Gods Martial Arts School. Well, of course, everyone is off to save Akane, show up the poser prince, or regain their rightful place as his bride. But first they'll have to get to China. And then there are those Seven Gods Review
As you might expect, this will seem pretty strange (and loose a lot of its humor) if you aren't already familiar with the Ranma 1/2 series (either from the TV show or the comics). But, from the standpoint of the Ranma-familiar, this is an enjoyable movie. Nothing special, mind you, but it is definitely up to par for the series. The art is consistent with the rest of the series, the animation is slightly higher quality than the OAVs, and the plot is, as expected, wacky, funny, and a bit touching at times.
Overall, though Ranma fans won't find anything new (other than yet another villain in love with Akane), this is a solid, enjoyable Ranma story. On the other hand, if you don't know the Ranma series, this is probably not the place to start.Crew:Main Theme: "It's Love" Song By: Rabbit Lyrics by: Iwasa Tomoharu Composed by: Noge Toshinari Arranged by: Rabbit Director: Inai Shuji Producers: Matsunutsa Yoko, Hasegawa Hiroshi Screenplay: Yanagawa Shigeru (Concept), Iuchi Shuji, Yamaguchi Ryota Character Design: Nakajima Atsuko Art Director: Arai Torao Animation Director: Nakajima Atsuko Music: Kawai Kenji Original Concept: Takahashi Rumiko

Plot Synopsis In this movie, the plot is more or less the same as the last one, spring under a castle and all. Ranma (or the pigtailed girl, in this case), Akane, and (of course) everyone else in the regular crew have been invited (more or less) on a cruise by Kuno, to christen his new yacht. Unfortuneately, those Pacific storms can be unpredictable, and we soon have 'Ranma's Island,' where Gilligan turns into a woman, the Skipper keeps ending up as a panda, and everybody and their sister is a martial arts expert. Before long, all those pretty girls start dissappearing, with only a perfect peach left in their place. Using Ranma as a decoy, the remaining castaways discover that the kidnappers are a crew of former animals (who are now stuck as humans--go figure), working for the prince of the island of illusions. Seems that the prince is gathering up every pretty girl in the island chain to provide himself with a wide selection of brides in his search for a princess. Everybody heads off, of course, to rescue Akane and friends, but things are complicated just a bit; you see, that prince has a gourd filled with water that can turn any creature into a man (hence the odd henchmen), and while the real girls are a little nervous around it, Ranma isn't about to pass up a chance like that. So, while everyone else is trying to preform a proper rescue, Ranma is busy participating in the prince's martial arts marriage contest, doing his darndest to get chosen by the prince and get close enough to have a shot at that gourd... Review More Ranma 1/2 mayhem. All the characters are there (as one would expect) and this movie has its share of wacky martial arts action. The animation and art are up to par for the series, and may even be a little better than the first movie (it's a newer movie, so the film quality definitely is). The plot is exactly the same as every other Ranma 1/2 plot (and nearly identical to the first movie), but has its share of funny situations and a touching moment or two (very brief moments in this one). Even though this is just more of the same, that's what most Ranma fans are looking for, and you won't hear me complaining either. Good old fashioned Rumiko Takahashi-style dumb fun. It's worth mentioning, if you don't already know, that the dubbing in the Ranma 1/2 series is actually not bad--the acting could honestly be called acting, the voices aren't bad, and the writing is funny enough. That's not to say that there is any replacement for the Japanese dialogue (particularly in a very "Japanese" series, like this one), but the dub is at least watchable. Basically, don't expect to see anything new, but for more of the wacky martial arts/love comedy combo Ranma fans have grown to love, Ranma 1/2: Nihao My Concubine dosen't dissappoint.

I like the second movie better "Nihao My Concubine" . Even thought the storyline are similar, I like this one better. I think it develops the characters more, and it does have a section of the movie showing each of the couples , i.e. Nabiki and Kuno, Shampoo and Mousse, Ukyou and Ryouga, and of couse Ranma and Akane I think its pretty cute. More stuff happens ^-^ Haven't you seen any movie or OVA Sapphira?
