According to Rumic World, Takahashi Rumiko’s fantasy adventure manga series Inuyasha will be coming to an end in next week’s issue of Weekly Shounen Sunday (no.29) — on sale June 18th. The series has ran for twelve years and will finally reach a conclusion after 558 chapters. I haven't really been following the manga that much (well..I stopped around vol 43)

I heard about that a while ago. I think the ending is volume 56. I could be wrong.

No, I haven't. I bought the Japanese edition of volume 53, I believe it was 53, and it had the feel that it was towards the end (although I do not read Japanese XD )
Where did you read the last few chapters?
