lol, wow. I'd thought that since you already have the whole series downloaded there wouldn't be much point buying the same episodes again (unless it's dvd and has special features)

lol that's ok... although I'm not really sure how to modify votes... I should ask Chibi Jen Unfortunately, once buttons are clicked, you cant modify the poll (not even myself) I think its to make sure noone modifies and changes the voting results. I happen to click on wrong things occassionally too... I voted for 'other', because Sometimes I hire them at Video stores (Sailormoon), sometimes buy the CD (Sailormoon), borrow off friend (Inuyasha), watch tv (for DB, Yugioh, CCS), Download off net (DNAngel), and I watch some of which my brother borrows off his friend etc.

True, there is relatively little incentive to pay for something I already have (especially since the DVDs have hardly any extras (only clean (creditless) opening/endigs, some art, and voice actor profiles)), but it does support the creators, as well as let them know that their work is actually being viewed (perhaps encouraging the availability of further series).
Also, the additional quality and optional subtitles (vs. the always-on of the fansubs I had) is a nice touch...

Yeah, there's plenty of Anime fans, but I wonder how many actually purchase the thing?
I occassionally buy them.. but then there's the other problem- I might be buying an illegal copy >.> That's so wicked of those businesses...

Maybe that's all there was for download at that point in time, or both of them decided to stop downloading it Please let me know if you ever find it available for download

Since I've last posted here (which was more than a year ago) my way of obtaining anime has changed. I guess its because since I've got cable I started downloading them via bittorent and stuff. Another main way I get to see it is because friends lend them to me (thats a result of meeting people from Uni and other places who are a lot more generous about lending them to me) Previously I'd have to beg people for it, and they still wouldnt lend them to me @_@

I either catch it on the Anime Network (which is why everyone in Canada should get Shaw Cable) or I rent them from the anime store. For most anime I rent it, since I don't like buying it unless I know I'll like it.
