I seem to like drawing (or doodling more like it) straight on with just pen mainly blue - there's a nice feel eg. my higara picture. It turned out ok and then I figured it could work as an rpg character... problem is colouring would probably ruin the picture and there's little room for miskates. Here's 2 pictures for now. They've been drawn a while ago: This could be an rpg character It's done on bad paper since I never know if the picture will turn our ok or not. He's wearing some kind of spider vest or something. Again on bad paper, it's been inked (another part I get nervous about: You can draw a picture in pencil that looks good but can get ruined when you ink. Little room for miskates either. Most of the time I do... This one turned out ok I think. Main part I like is the hair. I'll post more up later but I don't draw that much so it could be a while

Yay for pensketching XD I like the outfit on the first guy that jacket thing is cool. Not sure what those pointy things are meant to be though.
The girl is quite cute, I like her hair is mess but funky.
The way you draw feet reminds me of Dragonball.

The vest is meant to represent a spider. The 6 circles are the eyes and the things at the back are the legs, but it should be mechanical. I... can't draw feet well at all. Hands too actually. And yes, those feet were DB inspired, same with Higara's eyes. They're quite simple so I decided to start with it. I tried drawing them another way but it didn't look good... You can also see that the pose is the same, I can't really draw any other pose... I thought I should get this right first...

Interesting style there Belldandy. Looks like most of your drawings (lines) are rather sharp and pointy. They do seem inspired from DB, esp how the guy looks mascular. The guys' foot looks like he's floating. I think the girl's leg is too long- if you think about where her waist is, compared to her body. A thinner neck for the girl might be nice. I think it would make her look more feminine. Just Suggestions

I really like the style of the first peice. Very cool design (must steal ^^) Wow... you can draw in pen and not be scared? I hate drawing in pen cause then mess up always happen.
I really like your style, I can't wait to see more from you, maybe with some colors.

lol. The thing is, I draw in pen because I'm not too concerned whether the drawing turns out ok or not. If it doesn't work out, I start afresh (probably why the paper quality is bad as well... ) The more you work on the picture the more chance of it getting ruined... (unless you do it on the computer but I'm not good at that yet...) eg. draw in pencil, then inking it, then colouring it (on paper). Plus colouring something with a blue background wouldn't look very nice I would think. Guess if I could use photoshop it would be a different matter. Right now I'm more into developing my drawing. Not sure when I'll post some more pictures but I'll try not to make it too long

This I disagree with, forget normal human anatomy in anime long legs are better. Having the leg + pelvis about the same as the head + torso will end up looking more attractive then shorter legs. As a rule of thumb if you're not sure, draw your hands and feet just a bit bigger rather then smaller, do your leg and arms a tad longer then shorter. But only if you're not sure. Otherwise go with what works for you.
Pens are great for sketching, I love it ^^

o..k it's a long long while since I've been here, and this image isn't exactly recent well, anyways, I have to learn to draw feet and maybe, shading and colouring etc. This was also done on very bad paper, I tried to fix it up abit on the computer.

It's a nice mature look to the character. A future look for our hero? Maybe we'll have him travel to the past and make it a whole DBZ loop... The body looks good, the arms seem a little um, sketchy. I would suggest inking the peice, that way you can either color it or someone on the forum could.

a grown up Daisuke? never looked at it that way... lol, Digital, it's too embarrassing to post up the original... it was done in red pen on very see through paper. After drawing half way, I thought it might look better to give him longer sleeves, so I just added them on. Anyways... Finally, some with colour ^^ I think I'm starting to get the hang of photoshop, but the lines still look a bit weird? These was quite simply drawn to try out some different poses (the 2nd and 3rd one) and something to practice colouring with. They're totally random - I had no idea of what to draw until I looked at the white piece of paper

^^" I think it's been a while since I've posted. o.O Anyways, looks awesome Belldandy. lol. Coloring is something I'm not good at. But, by the looks of it, seems like you're getting better at it. Though...XD the last pic kinda looks like he has a dent in his leg..

Wow..ur pictures with colour make it look so much more awesome! Sakura's right, your drawings are improving, the first pic looks cool. He looks... CUTE!!!!!!!! >< :3
Anyhows, they do have a 2D Flashm MX look on them, you may like to experiment with colour to make it look a little more 3dimenional, but you're getting there ^_^
