I main thing that made me like this anime was the statergy involving in each game. They were interesting and always different... I'm not sure, it just made me think that the people involved put a lot of thought into it. However, the gameplay in the anime is different to how it works in the real world. First in the anime each persons life points (health) are 2000 and no one pays any tribute for high level monsters (Sacrificing monsters to summon more powerful ones). In the real world player's life points are 8000. Just a quick explanation: monsters with 4 or less "stars" can be played without sacrificing monsters. eg. dryad 5-6 stars need a 1 monster tribute eg. Summon Skull And 7-8 needs 2 So, besides looking cool and needing no tribute in the anime I like the Summoned Skull better than the Dark Magician because he can provide the same attack with only sacrificing 1 monster. Basically players summon 1 monster each turn and attack to destroy other players monster (higher attack wins) and if there are no monsters hits the player's life points untill it reaches zero. Trap and magic cards are also used to alter the game. Alot of things in the anime are impossible to in a real game eg. attacking magic cards and there are alot of cards that easierly turn the tables ( i believe it makes it easy for Yugi to make a come back in the anime) like the trap card mirror force which destroys all oppoent's monsters when they attack The rules are a bit more sophisticated than this but I think people are more interested in the anime than how the game actually works. If you do want to know tell me and I'll post the rest of the rules.

Well, as I said gameplay in the anime is different to how it works in the real world. Here's just a few more pictures... This is Seto Kaiba. He is a world champion and owns Kaiba Corp. His trump card is the Blue Eyes White Dragon (only 4 in the world and he has 3...) He can merge all 3 to create the BLue eyes Ultimate Dragon- the most powerful creature: In the anime, without the tribute, looking really powerful and each player with only 2000 life points, the Blue eyes has no equal in strength and can beat someone in just one attack. However, in the real world the tribute cost and the easy destruction of the dragon with magic/trap cards easierly puts the dragon out of my deck. (It still looks very cool in the anime!

yes, that was a bit mean... did Kaiba want to be the only one with a blue eyes that bad? I didn't actually see it, obly the two halves of the card taped together. I asume it's unusable... Yugi's grandpa still kept it... (maybe because it's still rare). You think Kaiba was scared of the 4th blue eyes.....?

Yeah, Yugi's grandpa kept it because it was given to him by his friend he had gone on an excavation with. And, I do think Kaiba was scared of the 4th blue eyes. I mean, I believe the reason why he ripped it was so that it couldn't be used against him. But, why didn't he just keep it in his deck, then he'd have four, right? lol.

Yes, that story about Yugi's grandpa and his friend in Egypt.... He gave it to him for saving his life was it?? Anyways, Kaiba could not have used the 4th blue eyes because you are only allowed maximum of 3 of the same cards (some are restricted to 2 or 1). This rule applies in the real world but I think it probably also applies in the anime.

Yeah, I forgot the name though. lol. But, Yugi's grandpa and Rebecca's grandpa, which is that guy. lol. They got trapped and decided to play duel monsters to pass the time. And the winner got the last canteen or something. Even though Yugi's grandpa would've won, he gave up and let his friend win because he needed the water. In return, giving Yugi's grandpa the Blue eyes white dragon. lol.
Oh, I never knew that. lol. I thought you could have as many as you wanted. lol. I guess that's why in that one episode with the rare hunter vs. yugi, he had three of each part of exodia. lol.

lolz, I was in China Town today, and came across these Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. lol. they're fake cards. But the look almost like the real thing. The only difference is that in the lower corner, there's a box that says the attack and defence points. And, on the back, it says YUGIOH, instead of R...something...lol.

If the cards are cheaper then it really doesn't matter that they're fake as long as they're playable and look ok. I can't tell what's fake or not... I'll post a scanned card I have later when I can decide which card to scan... (the cards I posted before aren't real cards but from the gba game Yu gi oh)

That's cool, what starter deck did you get. Mine's the Yugi Starter Deck although there's no Dark Magician, Mirror Force, Swords of Revealing Light, Horn of the Unicorn, Magical Hats, Spell Binding Circle.... etc etc. I also have a booster pack but I don't know if it's fake or not...

My deck I actually made myself...no help from anyone. Hehe, just the way I like it. I call it my "Female & Beast Deck". Mainly because all the humanoid cards I have look like girls and I have a bunch of beasts in it. Harpie Lady, Harpie Lady Sisters, Elegant Egatist, Wingweaver, Maha Vailo & my Black Pendant are the cards that really help my deck. -nods- What about you guys?
