Reflections is also rated 17+ O.o I didn't know that until after my grandfather had bought it i watched it anyway though lol. Yeah, all the Rurouni Kenshin movies are really actually rated for older teens, but, I have the first one anyways...it's because there's a lot of blood...I think at least, the first one does...

Reasons for 17+ rating: blood, gore, violence, partial nudity, indication of..yeah, that. it is Samurai X, not RK though, i think. lol i still love the movie though. i find it funny and desturbing at the same time...

Yeah, except the only thing bad about the first movie is that they show the same gory scene about three or four times throughout the movie.

Wow..a 17+ movie... there such a thing? I thought movies were only rated by 15+ then 18+? Anyhow, this is a little off topic, but I thought 'Ayashi no Ceres' was for very mature audiences, and it was only 15+, so I was surprised when you said this is rated 17+.

Is the manga any good? How are the actual illustrations? It is very good. lolz. they illustrations...well, they're almost like sketches of the anime...even though I like the anime much more. The only thing I don't like about the manga is that there's a lot of blood shown, that's the reason for the 17+ age thing on the back of the book.

lolz. Yep, but the illustrations, I think, are a bit rough...I like Fushigi Yugi and Love Hina. So, that's just my opinion on the RK manga though.

Ruroni Kenshin is my fav action anime, it has so much meaning in it, and the action its really good... although i haven't finish watching it i hope i can get it some how, some where. Kenshin is fantastic, a person so short can be the strongerst swordsman in Japan. very impressive.

It's a good show, I have only seen it on the Cartoon Network. I would like to see the OVA, I like the art for it better and it seems more serious.
