ive got nothing against homosexuals...but i don't understand why they had to make Haruka a girl... were they trying to promote homosexuality in a subtle way .....liek with Seiya and Usagi....because they seem to be the most popular couples ....the lesbo ones.....what ...are 2 girls more romantic ...than a guy with a girl.. ... i guess that would make sense You have a point there. Well...there's something about Japanese people making characters homosexual.... particularly in Card captor Sakura..... but it doesn't make the anime bad. Although Seiya is a girl in fact, people still like her/him because she still looks like a guy- just like Haruka ^^. At least Mamoru isn't gay! hahaha.. Imagine that, the two main couples gay..

Here's some stuff I found on the two ^.^ Yuuichirou fell in love with Rei at first sight. He had been sleeping on the shrine steps when he was awoken by Zoisite's attack on Rei's grandfather. Yuuichirou saw Rei and was amazed by her beauty. He trained under Rei's grandfather at the shrine in hopes of impressing Rei. Despite herself, Rei couldn't help but care for him. She kissed him twice in the first season. Yuuichirou has protected Rei from monsters on more than one occasion, not realizing her alter ego of Sailormars. One time, Sailormars declared to Koan that she would protect the one she loves -- Yuuichirou -- proving that Rei loves him. In episode 99, Yuuichirou thought that Rei was going out with Haruka due to a misunderstanding. Yuuichirou saw Haruka with Michiru and assumed Haruka was cheating on Rei. Yuuichirou challenged Haruka to fight, and he lost miserably. Rei saw him fighting and yelled for him to stop. Yuuichirou returned to the shrine and he told Rei's grandfather that he was leaving for good. Rei saw him leaving and she got upset, but she felt like he wouldn't understand the truth. Usagi convinced her to go after him and she did, but Yuuichirou was attacked by a daimon. After it was defeated, Rei tended to Yuuichirou's wounds, explaining the truth about Haruka, and promising to have a long talk with him. Rei told him to lean on her for support, and the two were re-united once more.

Oh..that's from the super season, not R. But yep! It's the heartsnatchers~ === Anyways, I thought it is possible Minako and Yaten could be a rather nice couple~ So here's some stuff 4 them! Minako had always liked the Three Lights. One time, she tried to become famous by getting her picture taken with them, and she sthingy-fed Yaten her lunch. She became their assistant in hopes of getting close to them, but they always separated work from fun. When they were filming a movie, Minako tried to get Yaten to protect her from a scary monster, but he refused her advances. Most of the basis for their relationship comes from episode 192. Minako was participating in an idol contest, and Yaten was one of the judges. Yaten told her that she shouldn't forget about her duties as a sailor soldier, but Minako said that she was responding to everyone's wishes. Later, Yaten interviewed her as part of the competition. Minako's responses proved that she was dedicated to her dream, and another judge told Yaten that he had lost, because she shined. Later, Minako was talking to Usagi, and she joked that if she lost it would be Yaten's fault. Yaten admitted that he judged harshly but that she shined the most.

If so, yep-- she did She won, but at the end, has chosen to stick with her friends. She knows now, that she has the potential to win anytime! Well yeah.. Yaten does get angry at Minako at times, but Yaten isn't always like that, and most of the time- they can get along just fine..Minako is funny though, those two can make a cute couple.

Yeah, they both make a great couple. Just wondering...during this ep...does Yaten know Minako's Sailor Venus...or vice versa?

In the episodes when they play cards, they don't know, but in the contest one- "yes".
Yaten was one of the judges for the contest. At first, when Yaten saw minako trying out, she was angry because she believed that a Sailor soldier should be soley dedicated to their mission and not playing around. Yaten couldn't stand the fact that Minako could be doing other things when there was more important things (Protecting their planet)
However, through this episode, Minako taught her that achieving your dreams is just as important as their mission "Usagi taught minako"... Yaten's attitude changes from Minako's ongoing courage and effort she put into the contest and yaten learnt that it is the determination that made minako stand out and shine.
I loved this episode~ eventually Yaten transformed to help venus and moon in their battle with their enemy.

Like Usagi and Mamoru, Luna and Artemis's relationship is one that dates back to the Silver Millennium. Both Luna and Artemis served as guardians under Queen Serenity. It is hinted in the Sailor V manga that the two guardian cats were romantically involeved in the Silver Millennum. Artemis meets a dog named Luna and he reminisces: "Luna? That's a familiar name. I wonder how she's doing now... Sorry, Mina. Just for one night, can I think of the secret allies I can't tell you about yet?" The fact that Artemis wants to think about Luna for awhile (this is before they meet in present-day Tokyo) suggests to me that he still loves her, even after being reborn. When they meet again, they immediatly being working together against the enemy and helping the Sailor Team. Also almost immediatly, Luna and Artemis show romantic signs such as Artemis nosing Luna's ear and such, even in the first season/arc. In the second season of the anime, it is painfully obvious that Artemis has a major crush on Luna when he goes out of his way to impress her but ends up making a fool of himself instead. He even tried to defend Luna from the enemy, with little success. But we do not see Luna return many of Artemis's advances until the end of the Sailormoon S movie. Luna has just returned (from space) and she meets Artemis at the airport. Artemis welcomes her back and she runs to him happily. Luna cuddles up to him, making him blush. This is even after Luna's unrequited crush on Kakeru, an astronomer. In the fourth season, tensions build between the two cats when a little kitten shows up and starts calling Artemis "Dad." Luna (and other members of the Sailor Team) blatantly accuse Artemis of cheating on Luna with a young nun. The little kitten turns out to be none other than Luna and Artemis's daughter from the future, Diana! Diana is the material proof of Luna and Artemis's long-lasting love. Though they may tease each other to the bitter end, Luna and Artemis truly have one of the most beautiful romances in the Sailormoon series that is often overlooked. If you consider the start of their relationship to be during the Silver Millennium, their relationship has lasted a huge amount of time -- even longer than Usagi and Mamoru's. These two cats certainly deserve a lot of credit for sticking with it for so long. In the Sailor Stars Season, Artemis got jealous because of Luna and Yaten's specail bond they share.

Himeko and Kakeru went to school together, sharing a common interest in space. But Himeko viewed space from a scientist's point of view, whereas Kakeru viewed it from a romantic's point of view. Himeko went on to become an astrocaut, something Kakeru could not do because of his poor health. Kakeru became an astrologer instead, watching the moon from his telescope at home. He believed that his dream of becoming an astronaut would come true through Himeko. Himeko traveled to the U.S. to work on the Lunar Project for awhile, but she returned to Japan to see Kakeru before the mission went to space. Meanwhile, Kakeru had become afflicted with a mysterious disease, so Himeko took care of him. He told her that he had seen a new comet by the moon, but she didn't believe him. Kakeru believed that there was a goddess on the moon called Princess Kaguya. He named the comet after her. Just before Himeko left for space, she promised Kakeru that she would be by his side forever after her return. But Kakeru responded coldly that it was impossible, since they thought nothing alike. "You only think of the moon as something that floats in space! You're not like me!" he said bitterly. But even with these words, it was obvious that Kakeru loved Himeko, judging from the way he held his hands in agony and his later tears. While Himeko was in space, Luna turned into Princess Kaguya and told Kakeru to live for the one he loves. She took him to space to fulfill his life-long dream. Himeko saw a mysterious lifeform fly across the moon and she finally believed in Princess Kaguya. When she returned to Japan, Kakeru was there to greet her at the airport. They embraced, healing their previous conflict over difference in belief.

hehe...that's sweet ^_^ Though, I would have almost never considered this couple in Sailormoon. That summary pretty much summarises the whole movie plot around them. I'm glad they get together though.. I think she suits him more than Luna does anyhow (no offence Luna)

yeh..I think they would have made a nice couple... === Kenji and Ikuko are like a "typical" husband and wife pair. Kenji works as a photographer to support the family, and Ikuko fills the role of the housewife. Ikuko takes care of meals and other around-the-house duties. It is apparent that the two love each other very much. They are also very playful for being an older couple, too. On one occasion, we see Ikuko feeding Kenji his breakfast. Kenji loves Ikuko's cooking. They refer to each other as Kenji-papa and Ikuko-mama, as is standard in Japanese and other cultures. Kenji and Ikuko are very united in their love for Usagi and Shingo. Both love their children unconditionally, even when their reactions to Usagi's grades might say otherwise. The reactions are intended to make Usagi more serious about studying. Neither Kenji nor Ikuko knows that Usagi is Sailormoon.
