I havent been watching Inuyasha for quite a while now.. not cause I finished, but I have missing episodes I decided I won't continue til I get to watch the missing ones, so I can watch the anime series in complete order. However, does it affect the storyline that much if I missed an episode or two? A season or two? I'm currently up to epiosde 66... and I have the last 6 episodes of the entire thing.. Tempting to watch.. but probably filled with spoilers?

well...I guess it doesn't really affect it. I kinda stopped watching Inuyasha for a while now....because it just got so repetitive. But, I have the jist of what happens. If you're missing episodes, it's okay I think. Though, you still might want to watch them. I mean, you might not be missing much though, if you watch the one after you miss, you might not get what's happening until later on. But, if you miss a season or two...o.O That would kinda be like saying seeing season two, but not season one. But, if someone did that, than they'd be missing the whole introduction to the characters, and not getting the point of why their group is really getting the "shikon jewel" and why they are after Naraku. So, you have the last eps. of Inuyasha? If you're seriously curious, I say go watch it. Though, I myself haven't seen the ending yet. >.<" I don't think I'm even close. It just seems so draggy....XD

This really depends on the series but for something like Inuyasha it won't make much difference. In fact you could well skip a season since-
*Spoilage*
Kikiyou is dead, next season Kikiyou is alive, next season Kikyou is dead, next season Kikyou is alive. See the trend? ;P
Once again sad to say there's no real ground breaking plot developements of resolution despiting have such a long series. Just about everything you need to know about the characters and their pasts in revealed in season one. The series just revoles around the characters and their antics.
*Another spoilage*
Naraku NEVER dies, just flees as a disembodied head over and over so if your hoping to see a clamtic end then you'll have to read the manga, though I'm not ever sure that ends. In fact none of the big bosses die or even develope much. Kagura still flies around wanting to be free but doing crap all. Kanna still sits there with her mirror, etc.
*End spoilage*
As they say it's not the desination, it's the journey. In Inuyasha this is tenfold true since the distination is always back where they started. So if you're getting tired of their antics then swtich shows until your in the mood again.

Even though it doesnt really end.. I found myself really entertained by each individual episodes and it was fun watching stories unfold. Quite impressive for someone to keep coming up with ideas =)

I've accidentally skipped an episode a while ago and still haven't seen it. It's the episode later in the series when Kagome realizes Kikyou is still alive.
