Well, just looking around the web for the animation company for Full Metal Alchemist. Their animations are really good and I hoping to see what other anime they animated... and they did Angelic Layer and Scrapped Princess... (company = BONES) maybe it's the story, or character design but the I think the end result wasn't as good or something.... SP was ok I guess now that I think of it, (much better than AL). www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/company.php?id=198Another series I really enjoyed was Full Metal Panic animated by Kyoto Animation who also did Air TV which I think looked really nice as well (the movie was clearly done by someone else and for me the TV series looked much much better ) A list of what they did www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/company.php?id=235also did Inuyasha Also, looking up to see if the voice actoress for Ed in FMA is the same as Mara in AMG (because they sound familiar) but it's not there. Romi Pak does play Nana Osaki in the Nana tv series though. I still can't find Mara's VA. Feel free to discuss about other people involved in anime (authors even)

*Never seen this topic before xD*
One of the names I'm more familiar with is Toei Productions. They did the older anime series, like Sailormoon, Dragon Ball , Digimon, Yugioh hey, they are the ones dubbed in English airred in Australia xD. I'm not really sure how it works; does only one animation production company do a single Anime, or are there joint works as well?

hehe..I never saw it this way but I guess it makes sense. Each animation company probably bought license or whatever to animated specific manga and the artists for that company would have adapted off the original and created a similar style.
